Conductor Bio:

Erika Pardes Schon is the conductor of HaZamir Baltimore. Currently, the chapter is composed of 12 teens from 9 different high schools. She also conducts choirs and directs musical theater programs at the Krieger Schechter Day School. Her volunteer interests include serving on the boards of the Jewish National Fund and the Zamir Choral Foundation. Erika is a passionate Jewish educator and has served as the Interim President of Baltimore Hebrew University and the Director of the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University. During off hours, Erika cherishes family time with her husband, Lew Schon, and her 5 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.  She is also a huge fan of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong!
