Conductor Bio:

Erika Pardes Schon is the conductor of HaZamir Baltimore. Currently, the chapter is comprised of 13 teens from 8 different high schools. She also conducts middle school choirs and is the musical director at the Krieger Schechter Day School and is the conductor of Kol Rinah, the adult choir of Chizuk Amuno Congregation. Her volunteer interests include serving on the boards of the Jewish National Fund, Jewish Educational Services and the Zamir Choral Foundation. Erika is a passionate Jewish educator and has served as the Interim President of Baltimore Hebrew University and the Director of the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University. During off hours, Erika cherishes family time with her husband, Lew Schon, and her 5 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, son-in-law, and 4 grandchildren.  She is also a huge fan of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong!
