Conductor Bio:

Matt Gonzalez is a conductor, vocalist, percussionist, and music educator whose experience spans choral, instrumental, and theatrical performance. He is a proud member of the recently graduated inaugural class of the Jewish Choral Conducting Institute, under the direction of Matthew Lazar. His collaborative approach to conducting is grounded in strong vocal technique, expressive performance, and meaningful ensemble connection. Matt is thrilled to take on the role of conductor of HaZamir MetroWest, his former chapter as a HaZamir singer, bringing his experience with the Zamir Choral Foundation full circle. He will also serve as Associate Conductor of Kol Dodi beginning this fall.
